Polylactic acid (PLA) is a thermoplastic aliphatic polyester derived from renewable biomass materials, typically from fermented plant starch such as from corn, cassava, sugarcane or sugar beet pulp. These components ensure the biodegradable component of PLA meets the environmentally friendly tag line. Luckily for the users of PLA, you will notice an almost sweet hint of honey smell that emanates from the heating and printing process. These filaments are universally designed to be compatible with modern desktop 3D Printers that accept a dimensional accuracy of +/- 0.05mm. This sticker branded filament was our first attempt and a new "BRAND" will be available soon. Check back for more details.
